Wedding Flowers

It gives us as much joy to create your wedding florals as the flowers themselves bring to your day. We love getting to know each and every one of our couples; it enables us to create florals just as unique as them. It all begins with a consultation at our Walthamstow studio, where we’ll discuss how we can tailor florals to the venue and … tastes and requirements.

At Borrowed Light we favour seasonal blooms, and when it comes to sourcing your flowers, where it fits your brief, we will always do our best to keep things as local as possible. Not only is this the most sustainable option, it also adds sentimental value to your florals and opens up to unusual and incredibly scented varieties.

Wedding Flowers

We’re always working with new wedding venues near and far, but there are a handful of locations close by that we’ve formed great relationships with. We have an ongoing partnership with The London Wildlife Trust as the trusted floral supplier at their three locations: Camley Street National Park, Walthamstow Wetlands and Woodberry Wetlands. We work with these venues regularly and we know them like the back of our hand.

We work with you and any event planners to understand your event ideas through meetings, calls and site visits. Following this we craft floral quotes for your vision, venue and budget requirements.
We love that every event is different and we take the time to appreciate each of our clients, providing thoughtful concept and design

"A belated note to say a huge THANK YOU for the most beautiful flowers for our wedding!

They were so gorgeous, I keep daydreaming about my bouquet! Various family took the different bouquets afterwards and we left some flower “goody bags” out on the side at the end of the night and people filled them with all the buds to enjoy at home, so they were appreciated for a great many days :)

"I can’t stop thinking about your beautiful flower arrangements.  You caught the wild aspect of the wetlands venue so beautifully with all the grasses and Ammi Major. I particularly loved your mossy bank and logs in the ceremony room and all the single flowers in different clear and brown bottles. The bridal, bridesmaids and flower girl bouquets were so unusual, with the caramel and coffee coloured roses and sprayed ferns, interwoven with narcissi. Your displays more that fitted the brief and colour scheme.  Not only that they were really unusual and very very special. I can’t thank you all enough."
