Jasmyn Kopcsandy Watercolour Cards
Hand painted watercolour cards by local artist Jasmyn Kopcsandy.
Inspired by her love for botanical illustration and herbaria, Jasmyn’s paintings reference the dreamlike compositions of pressed flowers. Her use of watercolour, gouache, and coloured pencil emulates the soft textures of real flowers with translucent petals and earthy colours.
Starting with her ‘pressed flower’ cards, Jasmyn developed her signature flower (often called ‘the Jasmyn flower’) of four petals. This flower repeats in her paintings, stationary, and homeware.
Jasmyn's aesthetic choices draw from her American upbringing, Hungarian heritage, and fascination with traditional English style.
