Kokedama
This Japanese planting style uses moss ‘koke’ to cover a plant’s root ball - ‘dama' meaning 'ball.' You will learn how to bind a mix of akadama soil and coco coir (peat substitute) in sphagnum moss which then holds the water and nutrients close to the root system, creating a 'moss ball' almost like a natural plant pot. Kokedamas make for unique indoor plants and an intricate decoration which can be suspended or stand independently in any room.
