Perky Blenders: Sunday Fundays at The Magistrates:

New addition to Sunday Funday! Borrowed Light Floral Studio will holding a
Pop up Terrarium workshop 12-4pm

Have fun creating your very own miniature indoor garden. Borrowed Light Floral
Studio will guide you through making a terrarium. Learn how an ecosystem works
within a contained vessel and tips on how to look after it at home. All materials are
provided, including a choice of colourful plants, mosses and pebbles to personalise
your design. All levels welcome.

Kids can tryout their green fingers and enjoy making mini Halloween themed floral
arrangements or planting easy care succulents.

No need to pre book, just turn up on the day.

Walthamstow Garden Party – July 2018

Come and see us at the Maker’s Tent at the Walthamstow Garden Party. We will be making fresh floral hair garlands or have a go yourself! Perfect for the summer festival vibeWe will also have a selection of flowers and plants for sale.

BBC Gardeners’ World Live  – 14-17th June

Our Tansy sculptures will be featuring in ‘Useful and beautiful: a pollinator’s paradise’ , by Garden Designer Alexa Ryan Mills.

Sat 19-27th May – See our Herons and Bulrushes still onsite

To celebrate the Chelsea Fringe Festival, Walthamstow Wetlands will be home to a POP-UP collection of creations by Borrowed Light Floral Studio. Collaborators include The Local Honey Man and local willow weavers Natalie Baker, who will be repurposing locally sourced materials to create fantastic displays of the resident flora and fauna.

Come and join in the fun whilst learning all about the important conservational value of Walthamstow Wetlands. Just a ten minutes’ walk from Blackhorse Road Tube Station on the Victoria Line, the Botanical Sculpture Trail will be open every day during the Fringe.
